About us

We take pest control seriously — because the people we serve do.

PestAtlas was founded in 2011 to bring modern service standards to an old industry. Today we protect more than a million homes and thousands of businesses across all 50 states.

Our story

Built by technicians, run for customers.

PestAtlas began in 2011 as a two-truck operation in Austin, Texas. Our founders came from the field — licensed technicians tired of watching customers pay for spray-and-pray treatments that never actually solved the problem.

We spent the first three years perfecting one thing: identification. If you can name the species, read the harborage, and understand the biology, you can pick a treatment that works the first time. That principle still drives every service we deliver today.

By 2017 we were operating in a dozen states. Today we serve every state in the country through owned branches and vetted partner branches, all trained to the same standard.

Our mission

Deliver pest control that solves the problem the first time — with treatments that respect the household, the environment, and the customer's time.

Our vision

A country where every family and business has access to safe, science-based pest management from a provider they trust for the long term.

Our values

What we hold ourselves to

Do the work properly

Every job starts with inspection and identification. The pest, not the calendar, drives the treatment.

Protect the household

We treat every property as if our own family lived there. Safer materials, targeted application, clear communication.

Earn the trust

Transparent pricing, honest reporting, and warranties that mean something. We prefer to keep customers, not chase them.

Reduce the footprint

Integrated pest management first. Chemical intervention only where it's the responsible choice.

Why homeowners trust us

A national brand that still shows up like a local one

Nationwide service network

Owned branches in 40+ metros, plus vetted partner branches so rural properties and vacation homes are covered.

Commitment to safety

Every technician is licensed, background-checked, and follows label directions on every product.

Environmentally responsible

IPM-first approach, botanical options available, and pollinator-safe scheduling on outdoor work.

Continuous training

Annual continuing education, entomology-led product review, and hands-on field certification.

One point of contact

You get the same dispatcher, the same technician when possible, and a real person on the phone.

Warranty-backed work

Recurring plans re-service between visits at no cost. Termite work carries transferable warranties.

Our approach

Identification first. Chemicals only when they're the right answer.

Integrated pest management (IPM) means we start with inspection, sanitation guidance, and physical exclusion — then use targeted, low-impact products where they will actually solve the problem. It takes more skill than blanket spraying, and it produces better results with less material. That trade-off has defined our company since day one.
